Sacha Baron Cohen has created several satirical and sometimes controversial characters over his 20+ acting career, with the character of Borat bringing him most recent attention with the 2020 release of the mockumentary film Borat Subsequent Moviefilm: Delivery of Prodigious Bribe to American Regime for Make Benefit Once Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan.

Subsequent Borat is a portrait of Sacha inspired by a promotional poster for the movie with the by-line “Wear Mask Save Live” which also served as a message to wear a mask at a time when the Covid-19 pandemic was running rampant in the United States.
