The matriarch of the family, Moira, a former daytime soap star and owner of a large collection of wigs she calls ‘the girls’ is perhaps the most eccentric of all the characters. With her affected and flowery speech, tendency to be overly dramatic and penchant for wearing a different wig for every occasion she has a style all her own.
